These guardians of the trees are found exclusively in outdoor, wooded areas, as their size would prohibit movement elsewhere. Members of the polyroot family of Plantoids
, treants are able to move on their numerous mobile roots. While solitary in nature and often found roaming by themselves, at times they are surrounded by saplings
, who are young treants themselves
, who will often come to the aid of a treant in trouble.
The treants drop a variety of woods, roots, leaves and mushrooms. The quantity of drops, more than any one drop individually, can lead to their being targeted for slaughter.
Most treants have a green canopy, but there are a few that reflect a different season(winter:no leaves, spring:pink leaves/blossoms, summer:green leaves or autumn:red leaves) or actually change their canopy to suit the season (Seasonal Treant).
