  • Respawns at E-5 approximately every 21-24 hours. There are two ways to get to the location - one is the exit from Beaucedine Glacier. The other is by talking to the Lycopodium (NPC), and trading a flower to the glowing spot on the ground in the present. This is a much faster way to access this secluded area, and can be a lot more convenient.
  • When at half life, five copies of the Sobbing Sapling spawn, even if defeated by spike damage. Once the Weeping Willow is defeated, Lumber Jack spawns.
  • If a Sobbing Sapling loses hate, it will wander back to the relative spawn area and despawn shortly thereafter. Do note, however, that they will link with Lumber Jack.

Historical Background[edit]

The Weeping Willow (Salix x sepulcralis ‘Chrysocoma’) is a hybrid cultivar of the White Willow (Salix alba), a tree native to Europe and the Peking Willow (Salix babylonica), a tree native to China, which is widely planted as an ornamental tree. They are known for their long, drooping branches, giving the tree an overall form of having a mop of hair (they have long, narrow leaves). The Weeping Willow, like its parental species, is a fast-growing but short-lived tree.
