Translation[edit]

The literal meaning of Aisha is "wheel of suffering" or "wheel of sorrow".

Aisha (哀車の術), as mentioned in the Japanese Wiki entry for Ninja [1], tersely means "the art of inviting the pity of others". It was a conversational trick designed (ostensibly) to lure the soft-hearted into dropping their guard [2].
