Uses Roc special attacks. Dread Wind: Replaces Stormwind. 20' AoE wind damage + Terror. Wipes Utsusemi. All of Bennu's attacks will be critical hits during this period of terror (lasts about 10 seconds).	High movement speed.

Very high rate of attack, and frequently Double Attacks. Moderately high evasion. Melee hits have Additional effect: Wind damage.	Susceptible to Slow and Blind. Highly resistant to Paralyze.
Further Notes
Bennu can dish out a very large amount of melee damage very quickly following the use of Dread Wind. Mages should take care to maintain maximum casting distance so that they will not be hit and terrorized by this attack, and can continue to support using Cures as well as possibly Flash or Stun. Because Bennu is a fairly large foe, melees should take care to position themselves such that they can be targeted and healed by casters without them having to move into Dread Wind range (note that Bennu does not have any conal AoEs, so there is no harm in positioning the melees inbetween Bennu and the mages) Killing this NM is required to complete the zone quest A Beaked Blusterer. Historical Background

The Bennu bird serves as the Egyptian correspondence to the phoenix, and is said to be the soul of the Sun-God Ra. According to ancient Egyptian myth, the Bennu had created itself from a fire that was burned on a holy tree in one of the sacred precincts of the temple of Ra. Other versions say that the Bennu bird burst forth from the heart of Osiris. This would mean that Ra reincarnated himself through Osiris, creating a precedent for Pharaohs.
