# Calculating Blood Pact Damage

## Physical[edit]

Physical Blood Pact Damage is determined by the equation:

where M is a multiplier which varies on each physical BP:

## Calculating Base Damage (D+fSTR)[edit]fSTR appears to have no caps to them, and appears to be calculated in the same way as PCs. The Base Damage is only an estimate. Especially at lower levels, this formula may be out by +-2:
## Calculating Attack[edit]Attack value level scaling is currently unknown. However, Celestial Avatars all have 504 attack at Level 75. Fenrir has 570. Carbuncle has somewhere between the two. ## Calculating PDIF[edit]- Ratio is calculated just like PCs: Avatar Attack/Monster Defence.
- Critical hits add 1.0 to PDIF.
- Max PDIF can never exceed 4.2 and Min PDIF can never exceed 4.0. Due to this, avatar's critical hits will do the same as normal hits on very low level monsters.
- Max PDIF has the following formulas:
Ratio Range Function Value 0 ≤ Ratio < 1 fMax(Ratio) = 1 1 ≤ Ratio ≤ 1.6 fMax(Ratio) = Ratio x 4/6 + 2/6 1.6 < Ratio ≤ 1.8 fMax(Ratio) = 1.8 1.8 < Ratio ≤ 3.6 fMax(Ratio) = Ratio x 2.4 - 2.52 3.6 < Ratio fMax(Ratio) = 4.2
- Min PDIF has the following formulas:
