Command/follow

< Command
Aliases: None
Usage: /follow
Description: Automatically follows the targeted object.

Move in the opposite direction to cancel.

Example: /follow <stpc>

Notes[edit]

  • /follow will not work on Invisible players; instead, /lockon and /automove can be used together to achieve the same effect.
  • As with /target, you may specify a character name (/follow "[name]"). The person must, of course, be within targetable range in order for this to work.
  • The player can target freely while in /follow mode. The player can engage a monster, if they so wish, and the player will follow and attack the monster until it dies. Once it is dead, the player will resume following the target they were originally following.
  • If affected by a movement impairing effect (such as curse) which is then removed, the person doing the following will continue to move at a reduced speed even after this effect wears off or is removed. This can be remedied by canceling and re-instating the command.
  • Will also automatically cancel if the follower is hit with a Bind spell.
