Template talk:Spirit Spell Casting Time

first comment[edit]

Alright, my summon skill is at 309 right now...

the formula at lv75 is (-3/11)(summon skill)+(1016/11) = spirit spell delay according to this page.

(-3/11) = -0.27 repeating (1016/11)= 92.36 repeating so, plugging in summon skill...

-0.27 * 309 + 92.36 repeating = Spirit cast time

-0.27 * 309 = -84.27 repeating

-84.27 repeating + 92.36 repeating = 8.09 repeating. So my spirits should have about an 8 second delay between spell casts under no special conditions. If I take off the bonuses for corresponding double weather, summoner's spats, and astral flow, that puts the spirit's spell delay below 0 (Which would be erronous because a time delay can't be negative, at least for real life purposes). And I already know my spirits aren't casting spells contiunously. So there is something wrong with this formula. (My Light spirit, under normal conditions, casts spells roughly every 5 ticks, or about 15 seconds [Start counting when the spell animation begins to play], others in around 10 ticks.) Second Comment[edit]

There is 2 forumulas there.. the 75 was there before I put up the second one. under the second one

  • normal time with 309 summoning
    • 48s - (309 - 269)/3 = 48 - 13 1/3 = 35secs (12 ticks)
    • with AF2 = 30secs (10 ticks) (light spirit in healing/buff be 15sec (5 ticks)
  • Best possible time with 309 summoning
    • with weather, day, AF2 legs, and flowing = -16s so 20 secs should be the very best you can do.
    • Light spirit in healing buff mode cast in 1/2 time so 10 secs should be the very best you can do with light spirit.

I hope this helps.

Who would decide to remove the first formula it doesn't seem accurate at all. Elfi Wolfe 16:48, 28 November 2006 (EST)
