Talk:The Moonlit Path
I think there should be a guide about the Fenrir fight, including PT Setup and tactics. Not sure tho where to put it, The Moonlit Path, Fenrir Prime or a seperate page... --Elvaron 09:56, 26 September 2006 (EDT)
Seems the update awhile back made fenrir unsoloable. I went in as rdm/nin to solo for a friend with 332 enfeeble Macc+15 did fine survived his 2hr and got him to about 35% and he suddenly gets stronger and not by a little he started to resist all enfeebles completely. Tried it a few times solo with same results then had a blm friend come and we were able to duo him but was difficult after he 2hred we had to ES bind just to give blm time to rest and blm had to use 2hr. He's still very soloable... I do it on a regular basis for people. He does resist a decent amount but it would be very unlucky to see a series of resists like that. That's when Gravity/straight tanking comes into play though! --Raen Ryong 20:59, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- easy fight with 4 lvl 90s. Sam/Dnc, Drg/Whm, Bst/Nin, Bst/Whm. Could probably have done it with half as many ppl. ~Zazhi, sylph
99 PUP/DNC solo. Didn't use WSs, made sure I had enough TP for Cures and Haste Samba. It wasn't pretty, the dog hits hard. Cure Vs and Curing Waltz IIIs kept me alive pretty well.
99 MNK/DNC solo. In full relic gear (not +2'd or aug'd) with Brawny Adargas, cake walk.
99 SMN/RDM solo. Buffed with Stoneskin, Blink, Aquaveil and Refresh. I played it safe and used Carbuncle to slowly whittle Fenrir's HP down while I ran far, far away to the opposite end of the battlefield. When Carby died, I resummoned. Rinse and repeat. It was over in about 5 minutes. I probably could've ended it a lot quicker with Ifrit or Garuda, but I was afraid of Howling Moon.
117 RDM/WHM solo. Beyond easy with ilvl; Howling Moon didn't even break Stoneskin.
