Talk:Save My Son

    Dietmund is in Lower Jeuno, the guide says he is in Upper Jeuno.

You mean the in-game description says "Upper Jeuno?" --Gahoo 06:59, 27 Jun 2005 (PDT)

Ahh! you're right! >.< see what happens when you don't double check these things...sorry bout that, and thanks for pointing it out Taverasme. ^_^;;

How's that? --Gahoo 07:54, 27 Jun 2005 (PDT)

I took a look at the in-game description and it lists dietmund in lower. and i double checked the quest on some of the other sites out there, and they do say hes in lower. I think alla just had a typo (as usual...). So Dietmund *is* in lower jeuno.

Ok. Then I don't know what Taverasme meant by his comment above. Maybe the Brady guide? --Gahoo 08:14, 27 Jun 2005 (PDT)

Oooooh, no, he was refering to the quest listing on this site - that it was saying dietmund was in upper jeuno. He was refering to our guide ^_^

Is talking to Shalott really necessary? He / She doesn't mention any flowers. Rsage 18:44, 20 May 2007 (CDT)

Just completed quest without talking to Shalott. Shizumaru

CS Only NPC[edit]

In case anyone wants to someday prepare a cutscene only page for him, Dietmund's son's name is "Domingart".

No Kraken?[edit]

I just helped a friend with this quest and we were there at 19:00 and waited until the flowers bloomed and the kraken never spawned. We clicked the flowers and left still with no kraken. Kresaera 16:08 January 8th, 2010 EST

It's possible someone killed or charmed it. --Kyrie 04:04, July 29, 2010 (UTC)
Yes, my guess is that it'd been charmed and was still alive. Some BSTs still do this for fun while they're there helping others or farming, as it's a huge help for anyone trying to wrap up the quest. --Calliste-Siren 20:12, October 5, 2011 (UTC)
