Talk:Poison Breath

Changed the source of the spell to Hound. Somebody had it listed just as undead instead of the actual mob type it comes from. --JTimmons 04:35, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

Best way to get[edit]

I would suggest to go to Gusgen Mines to claim this skill due to the fact that they spawn all day and all night.

Hounds in Gusgen Mines —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mur (talkcontribs).

Which Poison Breath is this? Crawlers use it, and so do Hounds, aparently. --Chrisjander 06:05, 25 April 2006 (PDT)

This is the Hound version. It's an Undead move. --Kyrial 21:52, 4 June 2006 (PDT)

Anyone know the poison damage /tick? Tahngarthor 14:14, 20 May 2007 (CDT)

Much like any poison effect, I'd imagine it would be based on your intelligence. I believe the base is 1 though, since that's what Hounds give you. --Chrisjander 14:21, 20 May 2007 (CDT)

If that's the case, queasyshroom is a better DoT for less MP, although as far as breath attacks go this one is a reasonable bargain. =\ Tahngarthor 23:36, 20 May 2007 (CDT)

I can tell you this has a good deal more DoT on it than 1hp/tick. I've killed mobs with it's DoT alone, and it's definitely a nice DoT. You could test it in PvP if you don't believe me. I may do the same. If I do, I'll post my results on the main page. I believe the DoT is the same as Disseverment, 18hp/tick, but lasts a rather short time (60 sec or so?). At Lv.75, this spell has more than twice the MP efficiency (when you look at the DMG:MP ratio) as Heat Breath. This is a *highly* underrated spell. --User:Belgaer/Sig 03:23, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

    • This is definitely an extremely useful spell to keep in your arsenal due to its low MP and set point cost and high accuracy. Be forewarned, however, that it gives the target 10% TP as any other nuke would. Therefore, the higher tier breath spells may offer a better Damage-to-TP-dealt ratio even if they are less MP efficient.

Got this off Haty, NM in Konschtat at lv16. Was a nasty fight. Edricofifrit
