Talk:Imperial Standing

It says Imperial standing (like conquest points) are obtained as a fraction of exp gained while under the effect of Signet/Sanction, but does anyone know anything about the actual rate it is obtained? --Just Bri Thanks 01:04, 19 October 2006 (EDT)

seems to be 10:1 -- for every 10 exp you get 1 IS. A 50,000xp merit pt nets about 5,000 IS. Didn't do any exact math calculations but seems to be about right. Don't know if exp ring bonus is included or not. --Bekisa 00:01, 23 April 2007 (EDT)

I'm coming to doubt that it's a straight 10:1 ratio. As a Chief Sergeant, I am gaining Imperial Standing quite faster than 10:1 would give. A friend, Ayasu, has said that it changes based on rank. Over the next few days, I am going to do some hard calculations, first as Chief Sergeant and later as Second Lieutenant, to see what the real ratio is. --WinterNightz 22:12, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Maybe a stupid question, but are credits earned without sanction active? matt 23:26, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Pouch of Voiddust[edit]

Heyo I just bought an item from Falzuuk in Al Zahbi called "Pouch of Voiddust". Its description: "The pitch black sand that fills this pouch exudes a distinctly otherworldy aura." Anyone know what it does? It is not mentioned on the page that shows imperial standing items, so it seems to be new.
