Talk:Collect Tarut Cards

What does the 'Note' mean? And why is there credit to someone from Cerberus for the note?

I was doing this quest with some LS mates and our mules, and we noticed that everyone who started the quest on the same Vana'diel day, got the same card. I'm curious if anyone has found if it's a specific day for each card, since there are 4 card types, and 8 Vana'diel day. --Fretion 22:26, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

After doing some extensive testing, it appears this is something that is actually random. I gave my mule a full inventory so I was unable to get the cards, but you can still see what you would have gotten. I believe it works off a random number generator. As with any probability figuring, the more you do the more each card type gets closer to 25%. I did 30 trades as quick as possible and for 6 Death, 7 King, 8 Fool, and 9 Hermit. There was no pattern to them either. I was kind of disappointed myself :( --JTimmons 08:53, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

She'll give you cards multiple times[edit]

It says on the page here that "Chululu only gives you Tarut cards once. There are no replacements." However, she's given me the Death cards twice, and then having thrown those out, she just now gave me a set of Hermit cards. -Betanie (talk) 15:17, October 10, 2012 (UTC)
