Talk:Aggressive Aim

Am I thew only one who finds this ironic? Aggressor used to raise Ranged Accuracy also, SE removed it for n apparent reason, and now brings it back as a merit ability for only lvl 75 WAR? ~Andres

I don't think its irony as much as it is simply balance -- SE apparently didn't want Ranged Accuracy to simply be raised by Aggressor no matter what, but instead only by those that spend the time and effert to gain limit points and merit this new Job Trait - Hiachi 16:13, 27 July 2006 (EDT)

What type of Balance does this achieve? Few Warrior used Ranged Attack for substancial damage anyways, there was a small rise of WAR/RNG, but that was really small in scope and destroyed by the changes to how Ranged Attacks were done. The Ranged Accuracy bonus, when it existed, really only seemed to have the use of making ranged skillups easier when I first leveled WAR. And if they didn't want WAR to recieve it no matter what, then why did it exist for so long? It was about 3 years the game was online before they removed it. Seems to me its more likely they needed an excuse for a merit thing to add in. ~Andres

What I meant was that I don't think its ironic that SE removed the Ranged Accuracy bonus from Aggressor and then added it again via Aggressive Aim, but rather that they removed the R.ACC bonus in order to pave the way for Aggressive Aim's implementation, not as an afterthought. - Hiachi 20:39, 27 July 2006 (EDT)

I am actually surprised WARs weren't in an uproar about it. They, basically, got nerfed, which is pretty sad since it's a job that receives very little updates from SE (I actually thought I dreamed up Retaliation). I don't understand why Aggressor isn't allowed to enhance Ranged Accuracy, but Berserk is allowed to enhance Ranged Attack. Malumultimus 23:39, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Are there any Warriors who actually merit this for anything other than skill-ups? Seriously, with a "D" in all three ranged possibilities, this seems entirely pointless compared to Tomahawk and Warrior's Charge. Even if you poured all 22 merits into this, it only gives 20 accuracy. You get more by subbing Ranger (22 with Accuracy Bonus II). I'm also not entirely sure on the use of Savagery, but then I've yet to take this job to 75, so I'm not sure on the use of 10-50% TP Bonus every five minutes.
