Has anyone ever confirmed a use for the Cardian cards? I have seen the 'non-aggro' thing many times, but at one point put a complete set of 2s and 3s on a low level character, and still got aggro. Runeghost 14:41, 14 February 2007 (EST)

No one has ever confirmed a use for the Cardian cards that I am aware of with the exception of a few quests for very few of the cards. It seems genuinely odd to have 52 cards in the game that allow trade/AH sale/Bazaar sale/Delivery Box transfer and yet have no known use for them. --Pigface 16:34, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Playing with the aggro detection, I still can not get the Cardian's in the ruins to aggro sound. They seem to aggro sleep, magic, and resting, regardless of which cards I hold. --Pigface 20:12, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

By way of adding information, the NM cardians (kings and queens) in the KSNM battlefield "Royale Ramble" do use the ability "Shuffle" This ability dispels one of your effects (just like the spell), and I believe it can dispel food as well though i'm not 100% sure of this. These NM's also have a move called "Double Down", which appears to be a single target attack that ignores shadows (doesn't get rid of any), for around 200-500 damage. -Fogoazul of Bahamut server.

Deck[edit]

I know it sounds ridiculously far-fetched for the purpose of these, but has anyone ever assembled the entire deck?--Lordshadow 04:26, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

After some testing all Cardians are aspirable, if anyone has seen a moment when this is not the case please post Ilvex 18:47, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

  • All Cardians are aspirable as all of their possible jobs have MP: RDM, WHM, BLM, and PLD. -- Parvus (Gilgamesh) 19:56, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Cardians in Town?[edit]

Has anyone else noticed how the cardians in Windurst all belong to their suits, which are specific to their area? IE all the cardians in windurst port are the same suit.

Has anyone tried trading the card from the rogue cardian to a cardian of the suit in town? DGonna keep track of what cardians are where, and what happens if I tried, and which suit goes to which...
