This guide contains gear choices for the aspiring White Mage. I am aware that there are many other suitable
choices, but my personal belief has always been that I should focus on fast casts, decreased recasts, and slot in as
much mp as possible while using potency items first and MND as a last resort to boost cures. It is in my personal experience
that it takes a significant amount of MND to boost cures by even 1HP, so you will see my focus is on Haste,
Fast Cast, and MP, only slotting MND or Healing Magic Skill in where i have no other alternative from the
items listed above. Also, most WHM gear before the Seer's Tunic Set is pretty basic and there's not much special
about it. So most of those will have to be chosen at the player's discretion.

Head[edit]
Head pieces are pretty cut and dry. Climb the hairpin tree as far as you like. Other than those, there's only a few more useful options. Even artifact armor has little use in comparison.

A very fun fight in Attohwa Chasm. You get to spawn one mob that spawns another mob that finally drops your junk. When you're not casting cures, this is great for the substantial mp boost and Fast Cast effect. | |
