Talk:Tachi: Jinpu

伍之太刀:陣風:go no tachi Jinpuu: The Fifth Style of the Tachi: "Gale"

I took out the portion where the originator likens the tachi to Kagero and Yukikaze. While there is a recurring theme in these tachi as to a double kanji referencing a weather effect (mirages, blizzards, etc), many are more obviously akin to actual combat moves (binding point, roaring heavens, flower wheel, etc). If we were to allude to the two themes, we should put it on Tachi: Enpi, where we already elaborated 'tachi'. --SongOfChaos 02:50, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Indefinite Level 1 Skillchain with this Weaponskill[edit]

You can use Tachi: Jinpu to create a continuous level 1 skillchain which goes back and forth between Detonation first and then Scission (followed by Detonation, etc). --lirmont 08:32, November 1, 2010 (UTC)

Someone should put on the front that this isn't a magical WS but is a combined Physical / Magical one. It's two physical hits, then whatever damage is done is applied again as wind type magical damage. This is easy to see as you can use Sneak Attack, Trick Attack and Soul Eater, no pure magic Ws works with these physical enhancing JAs. If you were to Jinpu a PLD during invincible you'd deal 0 damage, where as if you'd use Red Lotus Blade you'd deal normal magic WS damage. If a monster use's an attack down effect, then your Jinpu damage be lowered as well. Also MAB / MDB have no effect for Jinpu, but shell and other MDT / PDT will reduce their relative components. Double Attack, Triple Attack can also proc during a Jinpu and is very noticable as your damage jumps to nearly double. --Palladin9479 22:14, September 24, 2011 (UTC)
