Talk:Puppet's Operetta

Price[edit]

I believe the price is listed wrong. The Scop's Operetta spell sells for 598 with max fame. However, I have personally verified the minimum price of this spell. With max reputation in Bastok, Valeriano offered me a price of 17,296 gil for Puppet's Operetta. Tsakiki made the original max price change to 18,800, but the minimum also appears wrong. Is there something else that effects standard NPC prices besides fame? Boswen 09:44, 13 June 2007 (CDT)

Since Valeriano is a NPC that travels between cities based on who is #1 in conquest for that week, prices probably vary greatly depending on conditions. He does not stay in one spot and sell depending on who has control of one area like other conquest NPCs, he moves between cities every week. Not sure however what those conditions would be that would affect the price so greatly so it may be a combination of your fame mixed with the fame of other cities, your rank, conquest of certain areas, etc. As far as the minimum price though, Valeriano page has the estimated price there listed as 17,296 - 19,552. Reviewing the history, there is also a note that states: puppet's operetta price must have been a copy/paste from Scop's. Quite possibly no one ever changed the minimum price when it was copied over. --User:Wayka/Sig 12:57, 13 June 2007 (CDT)
