  • Fang Arrowheads (38)-Wind Crystal, Black Tiger Fang, Bone Chip -- for those who don't mind loosing gil and are just speed crafting (I don't know if Ctownwoody mind changing contents of he's page, I would have put it in the main page)Friday1700 07:29, January 11, 2010 (UTC)
    • Yeah, I hadn't used these because the Arrowheads and the Arrows don't sell that well, and because I think that Black Tiger Fangs are better saved for other uses, but this is an acceptable bridge through some un-stackable territory. --Ctownwoody 16:22, January 23, 2010 (UTC)
  • Bone Chips, when 1k per stack or less like I've been finding recently, provide a gap synth to 16 with a bit of a loss, as Gelatin sells to NPC for 1.8k per stack. Useful if the AH is out of sheep teeth and you don't want to do the Bone Armors. --Headache 00:53, March 22, 2010 (UTC)
  • Headache, Gelatin does better on AH, if slowly, but Sheep Tooths are usually easier to just get from the Guild. --Ctownwoody 01:01, March 22, 2010 (UTC)
  • I intended as a fallback for when the teeth are gone from the guild as well, like currently on my server. Someone came through and bought them out, so it was off to FFXIAH Recipes. --Headache 01:12, March 22, 2010 (UTC)

43-47[edit]

Hiya

Since I am levelling Bone and Leather together (Ram farming) I just wanted to point out Horns(47) as decent bridge to get that bit closer to Scorpion Arrows.

Ram Horns sell for a decent 2k on the AH but you can get Beetle Jaws for about 350g each and the Horns NPC for 1100k ish. It's technically a loss, though. --User:Dibble/Sig 13:18, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

  • Still a loss but more importantly, I tried hard to avoid Ram Horn-based synths because of supply issues. Musical Instruments tend to be poor skill synths in Bonecrafting because they NPC poorly and only the HQ versions sells well on AH.

But, finding some way to use them while Ram farming saves you trouble and effort. --Ctownwoody 15:09, June 2, 2011 (UTC)
