Talk:Atma of the Omnipotent

Has anyone determined what this haste is considered? I.e. JA, magical, equipment, etc... Natica 18:29, December 28, 2010 (UTC)

Thus far, it seems that all atma effects count as equipment effects (which explains why movement speed atma and movement speed equipment don't stack), but I would like some confirmation on this as well. --Eremes 18:34, December 29, 2010 (UTC)

How does that explain why movement speed atmas don't stack with gear? Movement speed gear stacks with other movement speed gear... --Kyrie 16:08, March 30, 2011 (UTC)
I can confirm that movement does not stack with movement if it is from gear. Rng90, I have Skadi's Jambeaux and Blood Cuisses, the movement doesn't stack with one another. Kerayu April 11, 2011

Last time I checked movement speed gear does not stack with other movement speed gear. Natica 16:36, March 30, 2011 (UTC)

I can verify that Movement speed atma does stack with movement speed gear. When running with CCuises and Ambition Atma next to a T.boots THF, I outrun him by about 1.5/1. I don't know if the atma counts as gear but I was clearly running faster than just 12% speed from my gear. Inuyushi

  • There is some speculation that Atma of Ambition provides more than 12% movement speed, which may imply it overwrote your Crimson Cuisses. I suppose it's possible Ambition could give 8% (equal to the effect on the add-on legs) over tour 12% legs, which would be close to your 1.5x ratio, but player reports find Ambition being greater than 8%. --Eremes 04:30, April 26, 2011 (UTC)
  • That makes sense that Ambition is more than 12%, in which case it would overpower my CC. I'll have to play with this possibly one day. --Inuyushi

Obtained this Atma with the following Results: Occultation Recast 26% gear haste no haste effect with atma recast time 66 seconds 16% gear haste no haste effect with atma on recast time 66 seconds. Tested again with -1% haste from Twilight to Ninurtas and it did finally increase the time gentlemen... the effect is considered gear haste... If you really want me to upload a screenshot I can do so the next time I pop into abyssea. What this atma does mean however if you want to full time some AF2 sets and still be fully hasted... well this is perfect for you! --Setsumi 01:34, April 12, 2011 (UTC)

Nice when you in need of EVA-gear setup, too. Thou dunno if its really worth sacrificing 1 of 3 atmas --Killercat Bis 08:17, April 19, 2011 (UTC)
