Immunobreak

Failing to land spells from the Enfeebling Magic class multiple times may lower the target enemy's resistance. This feature is known as "Immunobreak."

  • An Immunobreak may occur after an enemy has resisted a particular enfeebling spell. When an Immunobreak occurs, the enemy's resistance to that effect decreases by a certain amount.
  • Immunobreaks can stack and continually lower an enemy's resistance.
  • The more times the enfeebling spell is resisted, the greater the likelihood that an Immunobreak will occur.
  • When the enfeebling effect is successfully applied, the enemy's resistance resets.
  • If the effect is continuously applied, the enemy slowly gains more resistance, and eventually Immunobreaks can no longer occur.
    • Some monsters have complete resistance to enfeebling effects.
    • An Immunobreak cannot occur if an enemy has complete resistance to the particular enfeebling spell being cast repeatedly.
      • A log message appears when a monster resists an enfeebling spell that allows the player to determine whether a monster possesses complete resistance to a particular type of enfeebling magic.
  • Immunobreaks only apply to spells based on Enfeebling Magic skill.
