All Random?[edit]

Seems like no matter which chamber you choose, it's a random set of mobs. Might have to consider how to organize each chamber page if mobs and strategies work in all rooms. Then again it may be a limited random where certain groups of mobs only appear in certain chambers, but can still be random within each other.

For example, for Rossweisse's Chamber, in the discussion page, one person says there were Skeles, Tigers and a Buffalo; when I went through there were Bats, Worms and a Morbol. Perhapse those mobs only appear in tha chamber, but looking through other chamber pages, Bats appear in others.

Need to focus on what is known at this time: So far what holds true is that there are 3 sets of mobs per Chamber: two minion type mobs and one boss, which has A LOT of HP.

Anything else, or am I just thinking crazy? --SephirothYuyX 21:56, 5 June 2007 (CDT)

I think: All wings share the same "minions", and for each chamber there are certain bosses that may load. If so, let's use this talk page to compile minions for each wing (feel free to edit, everyone!):

Wing I:

Wing II:

Wing III (For the future):

Also, what's this I hear about special mobs like a single bird or tiger that despawn or something? --Joped 22:14, 5 June 2007 (CDT)

When doing Rossweisse's Chamber with max participants:

  • Hazhalm Bat (~20 Bats) Normal Attacks.
  • Einherjar Eater (~20 Worms) Normal Attacks, lots of -ga's.
  • Morbol Emperor (1 Morbol) Cassie-like x2power, frequent TP and a lot of HP. Also uses Draw-in, and does not wonder off than a few feet of its origination.

Killed all the minions without problem in under 15mins, their levels seem to be higher than dynamis mobs. With a few mins left over, the morbol argo'd, not sure if argo'd on purpose, or if someone got too close. After about 20mins of beating on the morbol, we only got it to 50%. Considered pulling the boss after the bats were dead and bypassing the worms as they wouldnt move, in the end it would of been a bad idea if we had done that as the boss uses draw in and the worms like to -ga.

The EXP scrolls Balrahn's Reflections and Hero's Reflections dropped off of a Bat and Worm respectivly.--SephirothYuyX 22:24, 5 June 2007 (CDT)

Not 100% sure which one we went into, but ended up with about 20~ Ghost type mobs and a handful of dark elementals, they seem to use the 'shared hate' system so a carbuncle type pull wont be possible. Loyaltrekie 22:40, 5 June 2007 (CDT)

Odin's Chamber[edit]

The ??? Chamber is Odin's Chamber, as found through the auto-translate function. Typhonae 11:16, 6 June 2007 (CDT)

While its possible that the last chamber is called Odin's Chamber, until the information has been released, this is far from accurate. Just because it is in the auto-translate doesn't mean that the 10th chamber is necessarily called Odin's Chamber. It is quite possible that name or area is used for something else entirely (Perhaps a ToAU mission, as they said they were going to focus more on Odin in upcoming missions). I'd hold off on adding information without solid confirmation that it is true. --User:Nix/Sig 12:22, 6 June 2007 (CDT)
Digging through the Dialog Tables for Hazhalm, yeah, the 10th chamber is called Odin's Chamber. Moving on. --User:Nix/Sig 13:10, 6 June 2007 (CDT)

Known Mobs[edit]

From information I've gathered around different sites, it appears that chambers are not specific. As in, you never know for sure what mobs you're going to get when you enter. I've personally only done Grimgerde's, so I can't speak for others who've done Rossweisse or the other. For now, I'd like to keep a list of mobs and what chambers you've seen them in. Add them here if you could. Please be sure to include whether or not its a boss type mob (they're pretty obvious). This list was started above, but I'd like to get it really specific here, thanks :) --User:Nix/Sig 13:00, 6 June 2007 (CDT)

I noticed there are two different type of skeleton mobs, so I added a BLM and a WAR type. I saw BLMs in Siegrune but I have seen WAR in both Siegrune and Rossweise, so I changed it to job specific for each area, I indented the old Huskarls just incase it turned out to be irrelevant and so people who have posted previousely can confirm which they had.

My LS did a small run of Rossweisse last night and we had to fight the Rotting Huskarls and a Manticore boss whose name I cannot remember, we also had a Tiger running around. Typhonae 14:43, 6 June 2007 (CDT)

I have also had the manticore in Rossweisse chamber.

We entered Siegrune. Had 13 ppl. 20 Hazhalm Bats in the room, and Morbol Emperor Tobatobu 15 July 2007 (PDT)

Just.... wow....[edit]

Himinrjot was my first boss doing this Einherjar and im questioning one thing.... How to beat him.. When we entered there was 20~ worms, a tiger, and him. End of the 10 min with 54 people the worms and tiger were gone and the boss was only 49% down. What would be the best method to kill him anyway? The line pushback that he spams makes him almost impossible to fully melee or kite safely. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Gojiso (talkcontribs).

I'm curious how you managed to get 54 people in to a chamber that only 36 people can enter ._. There have been numerous reports on how to win. The simple fact of the matter is, no one has any idea how to beat these mobs. There are no strategies, because it is too new. Be aware that getting it down to 49% is better than a lot of people have done. The current speculation is that the tiger you saw pop (it has been a bird as well, for other people) causes the mobs or the boss to become weaker in some way, be that either through loss of certain abilities or simply just less HP and DEF/Magic Def. As I said, we just don't know for sure. I'd like to currently confirm, however, that this "bonus" you gain from killing said mob can wear off over time (there is a string in the DATs that indicates it can, something about the "souls becoming restless again"). Hang in there though, this event is far too new to expect people to all know what they're doing. --User:Nix/Sig 05:57, 7 June 2007 (CDT)

Well maybe others were waitin to get in i didnt really have time to check... But i hope someone finds info on this...

No Therion Ichor After Wipe[edit]

Got wiped at the end of our run with 12 people, received nothing. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kimiko (talkcontribs).

This has been confirmed by most everyone (considering there have only been about 4-5 wins that I've found reported). --User:Nix/Sig 05:50, 7 June 2007 (CDT)

If all possible mobs in each wing turn out to be identical...[edit]

Why not merge the chambers of that wing into 1 page? It's rather annoying to switch through each article. --Joped 08:55, 8 June 2007 (CDT)

Because at this point in time, the key item reward is different, and, to be completely honest, no one knows what drops from each, its very possible each room as seperate drop lists. It is also possible each room has different mobs that we haven't all run in to yet (I've only heard of Logi popping in Siegrune's). I'd see this as counterproductive at this point in time D: --User:Nix/Sig 09:22, 13 June 2007 (CDT)

Archiving[edit]

Hmmm, does FFXIclopedia want to archive the June Update details exactly as they were? Because the Einherjar link on the details found in the June Update page leads to this page... which has been edited to become different from the original information SE gave us(so it wouldn't be much of an archive). --Brp 00:03, 9 June 2007 (CDT)

Repeat Mob Groups?[edit]

This might be just really weird random luck or lack of it, but of my LS and the two other LSes I've been talking to on my server, we've all gotten the same mob group twice in a row, even though we've entered completely different chambers. My group got skeletons again this time, still didn't have any bards, did a little bit better but we still completely wiped. Anyone else gotten the same mobs twice in a row? Teakwood 12:47, 9 June 2007 (CDT)

I'll tell you after we do our run at 10est, got dark elementals last run. --Sharaa 17:47, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
First run: Dark Elemental, Tiger Unique Mob, malboro Boss, not sure bout the rest. / Second run Buggards, Bat Triplets, Bird Unique, Buffalo Mob. First run Rossweisse's second run Siegrun's. So no repeat mobs for me --Sharaa 23:47, 9 June 2007 (CDT)

I got Rossweisse 15skeletons, Siegrune skeletons and Dark elementals, then rossweisse again skeletons. I hope tonight it can be different.

Number of mobs[edit]

From what I've gathered, it seems that the number of mobs is proportional to the size of the group that enters. Unfortunately, I haven't been given/noted any hard numbers, only how many groups appeared. Everyone I've spoken to who went in with one alliance or less only encounted one group of monsters, plus the boss. Anyone who went in with more than one alliance encounted two groups of monsters, plus the boss. However, I've heard reports of groups of 20 encountering only one group. Can we get some numbers/confirmations? -- Yen 16:17, 10 June 2007 (CDT)

See Rossweisse's Chamber Talk --Sharaa 23:43, 10 June 2007 (CDT)

Here is what I have had so far, I will update again on Sunday! I am begginign to suspect more and more that it is not scaled.
36 people - 15 Skeletons(War+BLM) (Rossweisse)
35 people - 12 Skeletons(WAR only) & 6/7 Dark Elementals (Siegrune)
12 people - 15 Skeletons(WAR only) (Rossweisse)
29 people - ~14 Ghosts (Rossweisse)
32 people - ~14 Hounds (Rossweisse)
31 people - ~16 Bats (Rossweisse)
34 people - ~15 Bats (Rossweisse) Nixius 03:16, 01 July 2007 (GMT)

Treasure Chests[edit]

What is found in treasure chests shouldn't be bunched together.

What I mean is: the chest you get from winning shouldn't be pooled with the temporary item chest. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Brp (talkcontribs).

Requirements for entry/advancement[edit]

The article is unclear on whether you have to complete chambers in order. To advance to the next wing, do you have to clear all three chambers in sequence, or can you do them in any order? --Karl1982 14:50, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

90+ Testimonials[edit]

We have been running an Einherjar static twice weekly for about four weeks. I could not find level 90 testimonials anywhere for Einherjar, so here you go. We were able to low-man the Tier 1 rooms with 8-10 people. The bosses we got were the Manticore and the Orobon, which we took down with no problem. We lost once to the Marid boss because we were not equipped to handle his Chiggoe spawns. Once we got to the Tier 2 rooms that have more than one wave, we had to kick it up a notch and ended up teaming up with another Linkshell. For the two Tier 2 rooms we've won, we have taken in at least 16 people. We lost once (our first try at Tier 2) to the Poroggo, because we were too far in towards the middle of the room when the second wave/boss spawned. She ended up eating our lunch via charm and general disorganization on our part. For the tier 3s, we've taken in 19-23 people both times. We had a very close call on the Dverger boss because we did not immediately realize about his Dark Kindred buddies being connected to his health. The other T3 boss we got was the Khimaira. One discrepancy I noticed was that the main page says that T3 has 3 waves of mobs. We have only had two waves, with the boss spawning on the second one. Might be our good luck.

Generally, our build for our low-man alliance was 2BLU, 1-2WHM, BST, MNK, PUP, THF, NIN, and sundry other DDs (it was a bit of a revolving door at first as far as participation). For fuller alliances, we always have 3-4 BLU, 3-4 WHM, 2 BLM, SAMs, WARs, BRD (sometimes), 1-2 NIN, and the occasional SMN, MNK, PUP, DRG, etc. We didn't base our pt builds off of anything except for what jobs people had that were best and need for healing. BLUs add such awesome spike damage. I guess if you have questions you can shoot me a message or whatever. Good luck! Cumaea 17:48, September 7, 2011 (UTC)
