X Marks the Spot (pt.1) - Tavnazian Safehold
Despachiaire: Player name, would I be correct in assuming that you have encountered the fearsome Mithran sin hunters in your adventures?
Have you heard of the sin hunters?
Yes, we've crossed paths before.
Can't say that I have... <-----
Despachiaire: The sin hunters are responsible for punishing those who have broken Mithran law.
Despachiaire: However, their hunts are not restricted to the Mithra alone.
In some circumstances, we Elvaan also become targets of their pursuit...

Despachiaire: A short while ago, a sin hunter arrived in the safehold.
She appears to be in search of Cardinal Mildaurion...

Despachiaire: I explained to her that the cardinal's whereabouts have been unknown to us since our isolation following the Great War.

Despachiaire: Apparently the sin hunter had learned about Prishe from her conversations with others in the safehold, and insisted on meeting with her.

Despachiaire: But after discovering that Prishe was not presently in Tavnazia, she demanded to see Prishe's room, instead.

Despachiaire: Whatever could she have been searching for in Prishe's quarters?

Despachiaire: I do hope this matter will not bring misfortune upon our already beleaguered community...

X Marks the Spot (pt.2) - Tavnazian Safehold
Parelbriaux: The Mithran sin hunter?

Parelbriaux: Keep your voice down!
You wish to know of the Mithra who demanded to see Prishe's room, right?

If you are a Mithra:
Parelbriaux: I'm not talking about you, of course, but Mithra seem to be a menacing race.
Otherwise:
Parelbriaux: It's the first time I've seen one, but Mithra seem to be a menacing race.

Parelbriaux: When I tried arguing with that sin hunter, I was told off most sternly by old Odeya.

Parelbriaux: I snuck a quick look into the room after the Mithra had left, but nothing appeared out of place.

Parelbriaux: But if you talk to Odeya, she might have something interesting to tell you. The Mithra went to talk to her after searching Prishe's room.

Parelbriaux: I haven't said anything about this to Prishe or the others yet.
I should probably make a report...

X Marks the Spot (pt.3) - Tavnazian Safehold
Odeya: Speak up, son/lass.

Ye say ye want to hear about that sin hunter?

Odeya: Oh, don't be asking old Odeya such frightful questions.
If I say anything she don't take a liking to, that Mithra'll eat me right up.

Odeya: Speaking of eating, it's the season for Tavnazian sheep livers.
Can't say as I've had the chance to sample any this year.

Odeya: Be nice if some young'un was to bring me some tasty Tavnazian sheep livers.

X Marks the Spot (pt.4) - Tavnazian Safehold
Odeya: Not a lot, now, is there?

Not even enough for sharing with a nice lad/lass like ye.

Odeya: Even in times like this, though, Granpa Hyogo would go without a full belly so's Prishe wouldn't go hungry.

Odeya: That child's mother had such a lovely voice.
It's the priests' fault she died the way she did. Poor little thing.

Odeya: After old Hyogo died, Prishe started living in the cathedral.

Odeya: When I told this tale to the Mithra, she went straight off to see the cathedral for herself.

Odeya: My eyes aren't as sharp as they used to be, but it looked like she found a key to some part of the cathedral in Prishe's room.

X Marks the Spot - Phomiuna Aqueducts
Shikaree X: This chamber...

Shikaree X: You're the adventurrrer who was with Prishe.

Shikaree X: Maybe you rrremember me?
I am a Mithran sin hunter.

Shikaree X: My orders come from beyond the southern seas, dirrrectly from the Mithran homeland.

Shikaree X: My orrriginal task was to see if Cardinal Mildaurion was holed up somewhere in the Tavnazian Safehold...

Shikaree X: But things have changed.
Without letting on to Prishe or Ulmia, I started investigating the mysteries connected to the cathedral.

Shikaree X: Mysteries like this weapon case...

Shikaree X: It's empty.
What could they have been hiding in herrre, I wonder.

Shikaree X: Frrrom the size of it, I'm guessing...a greatsword?

Shikaree X: I don't suppose you've got any hints for me?

Shikaree X: Whatever it was, it looks like it was rrremoved a long time ago. Maybe in the time of the war?

Shikaree X: Hmmm, there're no other clues lying arrround...
Guess I'll have to give up for the moment, and go see what other stories Odeya has floating around in that old head of herrrs.

X Marks the Spot (pt.5) - Tavnazian Safehold
Odeya: So, did ye meet up with the sin hunter?

Shikaree X: I brrrought this for you, Odeya.

Odeya: That flower...

Shikaree X: Yep, it's the one your little sister used to like.

Shikaree X: I'll place it in frrront of the Tavnazian castle gate, just like I promised.

Shikaree X: It will lie on the spot where your sister lost her life.
I'm sure her spirrrit will find peace in its beauty.

Odeya: I'm very grateful, but...

Odeya: I can't ask ye to do that.
Tavnazia has become a place of nightmare.

Odeya: I know ye're a big girl and all, but no one could make it out there alive.
Don't throw ye life away for me.

Shikaree X: Ahahaha.
Are you worried about little ol' me?
I'm a sin hunterrr. We don't die that easily.

Shikaree X: And I'm not doing this out of the kindness of my heart.
I want you to tell me about the secrrret room in the Tavnazian Cathedral.

Shikaree X: Frrrom what I could tell, some kind of sword was kept in there.

Shikaree X: I want you to scour your memory for every little scrap you can rrremember about that sword and what it meant to Tavnazia.

Odeya: I was but a simple maid, so's there's not much I can tell ye...

Odeya: All I know is that if ye're speaking of a secret sword in the cathedral, ye must be speaking of "Lightbringer."

Shikaree X: Lightbringer?

Odeya: San d'Oria put this weapon in the safekeeping of the Tavnazian Cathedral many years ago.

Odeya: The stories say that it was the blade of King Ranperre, and was powerful enough to break the legs of a black dragon.

Shikaree X: A black drrragon...?
That's a wyrm you're talking about!
The one found in King Ranperre's tomb!

Shikaree X: That's the weapon for me!
With a sword like that, I could be rrright on the frontlines with my sister, slaying wyrms!

Shikaree X: I need to know more about this legend.
Is there anyone arrround who has the full story?

Odeya: Let's see now.
If she's alive, Cardinal Mildaurion would the one to talk to, of course...

Odeya: But sincce she's nowhere to be found, ye might try chatting with the red mage, Rainemard.
He's the one who told me the tale in the first place.

Shikaree X: Rainemard?
I don't rrremember meeting anyone in Tavnazia with a name like that...

Odeya: Heh heh, so's ye've met everyone, have ye?
Well, Rainemard returned to the Kingdom of San d'Oria more than twenty years ago, before the Great War.

Odeya: He was a real pious man, that Rainemard.
If he's still alive, ye'll probably find him kneeling in the San d'Orian Cathedral.

Shikaree X: The San d'Orian Cathedral, rrright?
Thanks, Odeya.

Shikaree X: And thank you for your cooperation, Player Name.
Herrre, you can have this. It might come in handy.

Shikaree X: Bye, Odeya.
This flower'll be put in frrront of the Tavnazian Castle, I swear by the tip of my tail!

Odeya: Don't ye go getting yeself killed, ye hear!

Shikaree X: I told you not to worry. I'm a Mithran sin hunterrr.
We're the ones that do the killing!
