Skillchain elements research[edit]

Armor Shatterer > One Inch Punch : Compression
Armor Shatterer > Shoulder Tackle : Reverberation
That makes Transfixion. Now to find the others (if any). --Seedling 22:30, May 10, 2011 (UTC)

Stringing Pummel > Armor Shatterer : Fragmentation

So WS is Fragmentation/Transfixion --Seedling 23:16, May 10, 2011 (UTC)

As stated from PlayOnline "Armor Shatterer Damage will be increased and status bonuses added. Skillchain element will be changed from Fragmentation / Scission to Fusion / Impaction." - Rajempu

Modifier Research[edit]

Brief informal research using a comparison between atma of the drifter and atma of gnarled horn. Drifter gave an average armor shatterer of 1650, whereas gnarled horn gave an average of 1900. It seems that Armor shatterer is at least in some part modified by Agi. --Teiei 13:40, May 19, 2011 (UTC)

I did a small test on Goblin Meatgrinders to see how Atma of Fires and Flares affected the frame's ranged damage, and while normal ranged hits were improved, the damage of Armor Shatterer didn't budge, and only changed between 3 numbers depending on mob lvl/def (2130/2160/2175). I didn't even notice a difference with the 20 agility F&F adds. I have full ranged merits (and am capped at 95) and wasn't wearing any gear to boost my auto's ranged skill or ratk, for those wondering. --Badough 21:04, November 16, 2011 (UTC)

Accuracy[edit]

Is it standard convention for the entire weaponskill to miss if the first hit of a multi-hit doesn't land? I know that's how Barrage works, but I wasn't aware it worked for a WS like this until it happened a couple times (on mobs where I get 3-hits about 90% of the time). --Badough 23:17, October 26, 2011 (UTC)
