Notes

Around level 50, many parties like their Black Mage to Magic Burst this spell. This spell's long cast time makes it impossible to magic burst the usual way, so the caster of the spell must tell the melees in the party when to initiate a skill chain. This is usually acomplished by a macro similar to the one below:

Because of its high MP cost, this tactic is soon found ineffective, and is rarely used after level 57 when Black Mages get Blizzaga II. This method works best with an Ice Staff, which decreases the Resist rates and increases the damage by 10%.
