Charm (Status Effect)
Description
Charm is a negative status effect that causes afflicted characters to start physically attacking whoever the monster is currently targeting. Charmed players cannot access menus, use macros, or input text commands (except for chat-related commands) until the effect has worn off. Players who are charmed are treated as full-fledged enemies and can be defeated by other players, though no experience points penalty is incurred if you are defeated while charmed.
TP is reduced to 0 when Charm wears off.
In general, the best way to keep charmed players under control is to sleep them. Kiting is also an option, as charmed players have a slower movement speed than normal.
It's important to note that when a player is charmed, their pets are forced to de-spawn. This does not reset any timers to re-spawn the pets.
NOTE: when a player is charmed, the player can still get skill up during besieged under the effect of charmed
for skill up under the effect of charmed....still unknown if the target is to a NPC or another player
