Spawn Conditions Companions/Summons
  • N/A
Special Abilities Passive Traits
  • Reraises a random amount of times, gaining access to more powerful spells after certain amounts of reraises. Most of the time, it seems to undergo 5-12 reraises before being defeated for good.
  • Uses Corpse Breath upon spawn and each time it reraises.
    • After a certain amount of Reraises, it will spawn without immediately using Corpse Breath. This indicates that it is on its last "life" and will not Reraise again.
  • Enhanced movement speed.
  • Immune to Gravity, Bind, and Silence.
  • Very high magic defense from start; physical defense seems to increase each time he reraises.
  • Weaponskills and spells required to stagger reset with each reraise.
Physical Qualities Magical Qualities
  • N/A
Further Notes
  • Each death results in cruor, exp, and possible chests. Only its final death (from which it does not reraise) will yield any item drops.
  • Most of the time, upon reraise, it will use Corpse Breath and then immediately follow it up with a spell. Stun abilities should be kept ready for this moment, particularly when it gains the ability to cast Death.

History

Also spelled "cannard noz", they are three old washerwomen in Celtic folklore. The three old women go to the water's edge at midnight to wash shrouds for those about to die according to the myth and folklore of Brittany; or to wash the bloodstained clothing of those who are about to die according to British folklore. The story of three old women may be due to the old Celtic tradition of the triple goddess of death and slaughter.
