Description[edit]
Bar Elemental is a beneficial status effect that surrounds a player with an element until it wears off or is removed. Benefiting characters gain resistance to a specific element. Damaging spells of the same element will have a chance of getting resisted and deal reduced damage. Enfeebling effects of the same element (directly or indirectly) will have a lower chance of landing on the characters.
How to remove the effect[edit]
- This effect can be dispelled.
- This effect can be removed manually.
- Only one Bar Element spell can be cast at one time, and any new Bar Element effect will replace the previous one.

- Orison Bliaud +2 enhances Magic Defense Bonus of the corresponding element by +10 (with Afflatus Solace)
- Cleric's Pantaloons enhances resistance by +20
- Cleric's Pantaloons +1 enhances resistance by +22
- Beneficus enhances Magic Defense Bonus by +5
Job Abilities[edit]
- While under the effect of Afflatus Solace, an additional defense bonus to the associated element will be given.
Merit Points[edit]
- White Mage Group 1 Job-Specific Merit Points (+2 potency of Bar spells, +2 Magic Defense Bonus per upgrade)
