Adding notable NMs to the Regional categories?[edit]

I was thinking about maybe putting more notable NMs in the region categories, like Kirin in Category:Tu'Lia. I mostly mean the Shijen/Jailers/AV, but here's a few more I was thinking of:
Behemoth / King Behemoth / Adamantoise / Aspidochelone / Fafnir / Nidhogg / Cerberus / Hydra / Khimaira / Overlord Bakgodek / Za'Dha Adamantking / Tzee Xicu / Ouryu / Avatars / Tiamat / Jormungand / Vrtra / Gulool Ja Ja / Gurfurlur / Medusa / Dynamis Lord / Proto-Ultima / Proto-Omega / Maybe Last Bosses (Stuff would be put in their "original" regions, example: Ifrit - Elshimo Uplands, Tiamat - Aragoneu, Gulool Ja Ja - Mamool Ja Savagelands.)

A few "lesser" ones (Not as notable):
Orcish Overlord / Diamond Quadav / Yagudo Avatar / Goblin Preceptor / Antican Consul / Ocean Sahagin / Tonberry Pontifex / Alkyoneus / Roc / Simurgh / Serket / King Vinegarroon / Those 8 Demon NMs in Zvahl / Perhaps Besieged-related NMs / Perhaps the beastmen from the first Empire's Most Wanted / First tier of Tu'Lia NMs (Ulli, for example) / Chlevnik / Tartaruga Gigante / Wyrm

Just a fun, little idea I had. --Jopasopa 12:15, 6 January 2007 (EST)

Doing this to some of the more notable NMs. If someone wants to, they can revert the edits with a reason. --Jopasopa 12:42, 8 January 2007 (EST)

Since they mention nations as belonging to far west should the original areas be reclassified as the midlands ? --Heretic mkII@ffxi 17:26, 24 May 2007 (CDT)

Middle Lands[edit]

Quon and Mindartia are mostly referred to as the Middle Lands, not Western Lands.

Area Abbreviations[edit]

can someone(or myself) add the search abbreviations next to each area? i got them posted /search page (wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Command/search) maybe itll be helpful here too. or at least a link --Kerah 23:48, 9 August 2007 (CDT)

Image Map Works! Possible Revamp?[edit]

We can image map now. Anyone have any ideas for a revamp? The map could function as a ToC and refer to the sections below on this article, or could function as they are set up now. Don't forget we'd have the other map too (and maybe a new WoTG one?).

Campaign NM's on "NM found here" sections[edit]

Could we possibly say "various Campaign NMs" and have it link to a single page for all Campaign related mobs? Seems kind of silly to clutter up the NM section with a long listing of every Campaign mob just because they all check as impossible to gauge. Most people check for NM's with loot, if they wanna know about Campaign they'll be looking for that. --1.quos.vita.habitum.captivus 06:21, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

If you notice the revised area pages all have campaign mob (and other non-loot-dropping-nms) at the bottom under "Even Mobs". There are still a few more WotG areas to be revised, but look at Sauromugue Champaign (S) as an example. --User:Gahoo/Sig 14:17, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Ah ok, that works a bit better. Didn't know there was a change in progress. I've just been adding the new NM's from the recent patch to the zones pages. --1.quos.vita.habitum.captivus 17:06, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Linked Ulbuka Pages to Areas Page[edit]

I noticed that the Ulbuka areas received pages and map uploads in recent weeks (thanks to all who created/edited/uploaded them, by the way). However, I also noticed that those pages weren't linked to the Areas page yet, so I took it upon myself to link them. First, I used a blank Ulbuka map that was uploaded a while back as a placeholder until a more detailed map is uploaded. I then linked the known SoA areas with that page and set up some more placeholders in case SE adds more regions and areas. Aside from some difficulty with that 3rd map's placement and a few minor editing issues (my apologies), the whole process went okay. --LordChocoSlime (talk) 02:46, April 16, 2013 (UTC)
