Notes

Offers General Information:

You seem lost, recruit. Tell me if there's anything you wish to know?
  • "Nothing in particular."
  • "I want to go out and fight!": Just arrived and you're already aching to leave, eh? Listen, the land is wild beyond our gates, filled with fiends and their ilk. If you must go outside, head through Ranperre Gate. Allow me to explain. Right now we're on the Parade Grounds. Find the gate to the west. Step through and pass the furniture store and the inn. Take the gate on the left. Make another left down the stairs. You'll see Ranperre Gate beyond. Should you need directions, ask those around you. Our citizens are friendly, for the most part.
  • "I want to go shopping.": For weapons and basic supplies, take a walk through the city and you'll find all that you need. Should you need directions, ask those around you. Our citizens are friendly, for the most part.
  • "I want to know more about adventuring.": Recruits... Don't know which way to hold a sword and you think you're ready. Well, what would you like to know?
  • "Helping people.": Ah, a commendable choice! I saw a lady in front of a house on Pikeman's Way who may be in need of assistance. Should you need directions, ask those around you. Our citizens are friendly, for the most part.
  • "Hunting monsters.": Novices... Don't know your own limits until a fiend beats it into your head for you. Very well. How about gathering some hides for the Tanners' Guild in Southern San d'Oria? Southern San d'Oria is just beyond Victory Arch there. Pass through and go west. You'll find the Tanners' Guild soon enough. Should you need directions, ask those around you. Our citizens are friendly, for the most part.
  • "Making easy money.": Easy money, eh? Typical! I canot promise ease, but check the lumberyard on Laborman's Way. They shuld have some work for you. Go through the gate to the west and pass the Phoenix Perch Inn. You should see another gate there to your right. That gate leads to Laborman's Way. Should you need directions, ask those around you. Our citizens are friendly, for the most part.
  • "Working for my country.": Ah, a commendable choice. Each enterance to the city has a gatehouse. Tell the guards there you wish to work for tthe glory of the kingdom! Should you need directions, ask those around you. Our citizens are friendly, for the most part.
