To become an experienced crafter, every 10 skill levels one has to prove to the guild that they "have what it takes" by crafting (or buying) an item of the guild's choosing, and to advance to a higher rank to further increase a skill level. This item will be requested, and can be turned in once a level 8 in skill (8, 18, 28, etc.) has been reached. Without acquiring a higher rank, it is not possible to raise a skill past the level limit at 10, 20, 30, and so forth.
Maximum attainable level for Synergy is currently 80. |
Relations Between Crafts Above Skill Level 70The maximum unrestricted crafting level is Craftsman (70). After level 70, 40 levels can be distributed amongst crafts that are taken above 70. This means every single craft can be taken up to 70 without any issues, but only one to level 110, or four to level 80, and so on. If a skill level is raised beyond level 70 after already having the 'extra' 40 levels distributed to other crafts above 70, the level of the crafts above 70 will decrease, starting with the highest. As Fishing and Synergy are not synthesis crafts (which use crystals), they are not subject to any of these limitations. Thus Fishing can be level 110, Synergy can be level 80, and all the rest of the crafts can be level 70 while the 40 levels are still available to be distributed. To level down a craft back to 70, or in other words, to the rank of Craftsman, talking to a guildmaster will give the choice to do so. |
It is generally believed that the following results are accurate. These are, however, assumptions only.
