Overview

This category provides templates for creating new articles and entering data into existing ones.

Templates provide a common, uniform way of entering data into a page.
They can handle formatting, calculations and category insertion among other things.
Templates also provide automatic updates. If a template gets updated, so do the articles that use it.

Be sure to use templates when contributing so that this functionality can be taken advantage of.

Most of the templates contain instructions in the form of comments or Usage documentation.
- Read them thoroughly and follow the directions to ensure proper use of the template.

Template Lists

Column Key:

Template: Link to the template.
T: The type of template.
- T = True template. Copy the code provided on the template page to use it.
- S = Sub-template meant to be used in conjunction with another. The "S" will link to the primary template.
- L = Layout. Use the Edit or View Source tab at the top of the template page and copy the contents to use it.
  Be sure to follow the commented directions! Also, remove any categories that do not apply to the destination article, such as [[Category:Templates]].
Category: The category or categories containing articles that use the template.
